nævn.dk is an independent guide to Danish consumer complaint boards. For each board it states who can complain, what it costs, which deadlines apply, and when the information was last checked against the source.

What the site does

When you disagree with a business, a landlord or an authority, it is often hard to know where to complain. Some cases go to a public board, others to a private appeals board set up by an industry. nævn.dk points to the right board and links to the board's own site, where you file the complaint.

The site is not an authority and does not give legal advice on individual cases. It gathers the public information in one place.

Fact-checking

Every fee, amount limit and deadline has a source: the board's own site, the law on retsinformation.dk or a public authority such as borger.dk and forbrug.dk. Each figure shows when it was last checked, and a warning appears if it is more than a year old.

  • Flight compensation

    Calculates compensation under EU Regulation 261/2004 from distance and delay.

  • Search

    Search across boards and guides.

Technology

A static site built with Astro. The build stops if a check fails, including old URLs, redirects, amounts without a source, internal links and contrast. Playwright runs axe accessibility checks on every page at 1440 and 375 px.
